Rnd 4 - Clarence MX - 25th July 2010

Well it was a great days racing with a few injuries. We had 81 riders and managed to get 5 rounds in for each class plus a 9 lapper seniors all in. Mitch Hart had a big crash on one of the table tops. Lyn Braico spoke to Ruth, Mitch's wife, tonight and he has a compression fracture at T12 in his back. He is still in Lithgow Hospital but has been fitted with a brace, so he will hopefully be home tomorrow to rest and recoup. Ruth is really positive that Mitch will be OK. Karissa Jones also had a crash and had surgery on her arm and is now in plaster for 6 weeks. Hope it all goes well for both Mitch and Karissa. (please leave your messages on the forum)

A very big thank you to all our helpers on Sunday, David Gradden - Event Director, Ian Stockwell and Michaela Clover for running the transponder timing system, Karen O'Regan and Heather Stockwell - Sign On, David O'Regan - Scrutineering and Start Gates, Dave Zolner - Starter, our officials Herb Conlon and Ian Ridge, Lower Mountains MCC for the use of the track and all the others that helped throughout the day.
