Workers Rule Points 2008 (WRP)

To qualify for WRP, all riders MUST fill in the Event Assistance form and fax it to 98360903 by the Wednesday before the club event. This will allow the event director to allocate you to a job and to control the number of workers required at each club event. If you have a preference for a club event, make sure you apply at the beginning of the year. All workers are then required to sign the workers sheet and be allocated a job by the event director before or on the day of the race. There are now 2 WRP's, Race Day Points - 50 and Setup Points - 50. This will give a rider a total of 100 points. A rider may help at an OBMCC state run round to get the Setup points. All Race Day Points must be at a club day. The A4DE and the ISDE do not count.

Seniors

To qualify for the WRP, you (not your friend, dad or mum) can be or must help the event director with the race or be one of the key officials of the event. WRP will be allocated as follows

Race Day Points       - 50 points

Setup Points              - 50 Points

The WRP is allocated as Bonus Points and will be applied to both MX and Enduro Championships (if separate championships are run). If you help and then decide to race that same event, your are automatically disqualified from getting any WRP. You are only allowed to receive these points once within the year.  You can help at any type of club event.

For example,

You help setup a grass track the day before the event            50 points Setup

You help score on Race Day                                                   50 points Race Day

Total Points received                                                               100 points

Juniors

To qualify for the WRP you, your friend, dad or mum, must help the event director with the race or be one of the key officials of the club event. The reason for this, is that Juniors are under age and are not allowed to help on Race days, however there is no reason why a Junior cannot help the day before. WRP will be allocated as follows

Race Day Points       - 50 points

Setup Points              - 50 Points

The WRP is allocated as Bonus Points and will be applied to both MX and Enduro Championships (if separate championships are run). You are only allowed to receive these points once within the year.  You can help at any type of club event. A rider may help at an OBMCC state run round to get the Before Race Day points. All On The Day points must be a club day.

For example,

You help setup a grass track the day before the event           50 points

Your parent helps score on Race Day                                    50 points

You finish first in your class                                                     25 Points
